EZ Step is crafted from the exact flooring you’re installing — no close-enough matches here. The tread is formed using your actual LVP to curve into a true flush step. That means no awkward bumps, no pieces that fall off, and no unsightly overlap. EZ Step also fits over your existing stair nose, saving time and frustration during installation.
Are EZ Step treads a true flush fit with luxury vinyl plank flooring?

Can EZ Step treads be customized to match any LVP brand or color?

What materials are used in the construction of EZ Step?

Are inside and outside corner pieces available?
Yes! Inside and outside corners are available to complete the look.
Installation
Can EZ Step be installed over existing stairs with old stair noses?
Yes — especially if the existing noses are the “overlap” style. In most cases, they can be popped off easily before installing EZ Step.
Do I need a professional installer, or can I install EZ Step myself?
EZ Step is designed to be DIY-friendly. But if you’d rather leave it to the pros, most installers will be happy to handle it for you.
What tools are required for installation?
Just a few basics: a table saw or chop saw, a trowel for spreading adhesive, and a tape measure. Measure, cut, glue — EZ.
How long does installation typically take per staircase?
No more than 30 minutes per step. It's quicker than trying to open shrink wrap without scissors.
Are there installation instructions or videos available?
It’s that simple: measure, cut, glue. We’ll have visuals available soon, but the process really is as EZ as it sounds.

Is EZ Step safe for pets and children?
Yes! There are no sharp edges, and the natural grain of the LVP runs from wall to wall, offering slip resistance that’s both safe and stylish.
How do I clean and maintain EZ Step treads?
They’re 100% non-porous and super easy to clean. A little Windex or your favorite light cleaner works great. We recommend Bona LVP Cleaner for best results.

How do I place a custom order?
Contact your local dealer. You’ll need to know how many steps you're covering and provide (or purchase) 2 planks per step. We also ask for 4 extra planks per order — unused planks will be returned.
What’s the typical lead time for orders?
Usually just 1 to 2 weeks.
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes, we ship across the USA from our facility in Traverse City, Michigan.
Is there a minimum quantity required for ordering?
